Etienne composes and produces music for film and television at his Muju studio,which he founded in 2020. The studio is equipped with recording equipment, a substantial collection of instruments, and is frequently visited by his many fellow musicians. While emphasizing the “human” aspect of his productions, Etienne also utilizes a wide array of virtual instruments and plugins. As a result, Studio Muju is an ergonomic tool for working quickly and efficiently across a wide variety of styles. Etienne produces music ranging from the most unrestrained experimental sounds to more conventional pieces adhering to genre conventions: animation, corporate films, fiction, documentaries, and more. Depending on the budget, Studio Muju handles the entire production process or delegates certain aspects to partner studios, notably “la Mix Room” in Angoulême for mixing and mastering.
